Routers are the glue that holds the Internet together, and Cisco Systems–holding roughly 70% of the market–is the most prominent router manufacturer. Cisco's routers come in all shapes and sizes and almost all of them, from the smallest to the largest, run the IOS operating system. IOS is an extremely powerful and complex operating system, with an equally complex configuration language. There are many commands, with many options, and if one thing is configured incorrectly, the entire company could find itself offline.

The CCNA Data Center covers a wide range of technologies found in the data center. In this course, we dive deep into the concepts of unified fabric with the FCoE protocol, along with complimentary technologies found in the data center bridging extensions such as Priority-based Flow Control (PFC) and Enhanced Transmission Selection (ETS). We'll then move on to the Cisco UCS platform, spending time reviewing the products and solutions within the UCS stack, while also taking the time to do a full initial setup and configuration in the lab. Finally, we'll go over the Nexus 1000v switch - including an install and configure lab - and how virtualization impacts the data center.

The CCIE Security Written Exam is the qualifier for the CCIE Security Lab Exam. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental networking skills before attempting the lab exam, and those skills include a knowledge of the IP Protocol, the TCP/IP stack, and basic routing fundamentals. This course reviews these technologies, focusing on important topics that must be understood by any CCIE Security candidate. This course is not designed to introduce new information, however, it covers information that should be very familiar to any candidate. As you complete these modules you will solidify your understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack, RIPv2, OSPF, EIGRP, and MP-BGP. I'll also give you a few tips to continue progressing toward CCIE Security certification.

Tony "CISCO" Marsico is no stranger to the sparse desert sound. In 1984 his band The Plugz, were called on to score the cult film Repo Man". "This flick showed the lonely desolate side of the city few really know, the sound reflected the desert, afterall L.A. is one big desert except for a few plastic palm trees thrown in." says Marsico. Marsico's band would slowly morph into The Cruzados and release two critically acclaimed albums on Arista Records between the years 1984- 1988 and toured extensively throughout the U.S and Europe eventually landing them a prime spot at Farm Aid. In the spring of 2014 Cisco and Dewey got together in Joshua Tree and started writing songs together again and by June of 2014 they were recording their debut album with producer Tom Lavin. We kept the sessions to all good friends and called in our favorite players to record.
