A Bibliography of George Berkeley: With Inventory of Berkeley's Manuscript Remains (International Archives of the History of Ideas Archives internationales d'histoire des idées) by T.E. Jessop

Since the first appearance of this bibliography (1934, Oxford Uni versity Press), which has long been out of print, so much attention has been paid to Berkeley that a mere reprint would be inept. Besides bringing it up to date I have added collations of those editions of Berkeley's writings that were published in his lifetime. In doing so I have used a form of description simple enough for anyone to follow yet sufficient to enable librarians to check their catalogues and to identify copies in which the titlepage is missing or mutilated. As before, I have marked with an asterisk throughout the bibliography every book, edition and article that has not been seen by me or, in a few cases, by a competent friend.
Dan Appleman's Win32 API Puzzle Book and Tutorial for Visual Basic Programmers (repost)

Dan Appleman's Win32 API Puzzle Book and Tutorial for Visual Basic Programmers by Dan Appleman
English | Mar 1999 | ISBN: 1893115011 | 100 Pages | PDF | 3 MB

The key to accessing the power of every operating system is its application programming interface (API). Visual Basic can access only part of the Windows API without special help. To write the most powerful possible programs, VB programmers need to work with all of the API. The big problem for VB programmers in trying to do so is that all of the available documentation on the Windows API is written for C++ programmers.

GDI+ Programming in C# and VB .NET

GDI+ Programming in C# and VB .NET by Nick Symmonds
English | July 2, 2002 | ISBN: 159059035X | 589 pages | PDF | 10 MB

Gdi+ both wraps arcane Api calls and extends them for much easier use. Programmers no longer have to make do with the familiar but simplistic Vb 6.0 drawing model, nor do they have to dig down into the Gdi Api in order to get any real work done. In Gdi+, Microsoft has come up with a complete, but still extensible, set of classes for all of the .Net programmers drawing needs.
