Thrash Metal

Remastered re-release of the sixth full-length album by the legendary German Thrash Metal band. Tankard created a record that was really "Two-Faced". After "Stone Cold Sober" Tankard concentrated on their strengths. That meant that they had to move away a bit from the Thrash formula and focus on the other styles, which had always been a part of their sound anyway, or to put it simply. This band had to find the right balance again, and they finally did. This album includes a few of the best songs that Tankard has recorded in years! While "Two-Faced" initially seems to possess many of Tankard's trademark characteristics, it also differs from the previous releases to a small degree. Some deviation from traditions put aside, “Two-Faced" is a fair pick for anyone who enjoys Tankard's style! Re-edition contains five live bonus tracks taken from the "Open All Night" VHS recording! Recorded live at the Thrashing-East-Festival, Werner-Seelenbinder-Halle, East Berlin, March 4th, 1990.

Thrash Metal

Remastered re-release of the fifth full-length album by the legendary German Thrash/Speed Metal band. Pure Gritty Violent German Thrash! Recorded at a time when Thrash was beginning to disappear, the release of "Stone Cold Sober" offered the genre something to look forward to. Filled with fast deafening riffs and the classic Thrash Metal vocals, Tankard does so well, it's an improvement from "Zombie Attack" and "Chemical Invasion", not too discredit these two great albums. The controversial fifth release from Germany’s hardest drinkers in Tankard, “Stone Cold Sober,” is perhaps the bands’ most overall Thrash-intensive effort and really shows the band has plenty to offer when they put the drinks down and really get down to business! Re-edition contains three live bonus tracks taken from the "Open All Night" VHS recording! Recorded live at the Thrashing-East-Festival, Werner-Seelenbinder-Halle, East Berlin, March 4th, 1990.

Thrash Metal

Remastered re-release of the fourth full-length album by the legendary German Thrash Metal band. "The Meaning of Life" is stylistically not a large departure from the last album, but here you can really notice they started experimenting with their songwriting, especially as in trying to make the riffs more complex, the songs longer and more mid-paced moments (slightly) than on the previous releases. Re-edition contains five live bonus tracks taken from the "Open All Night" VHS recording! Recorded live at the Thrashing-East-Festival, Werner-Seelenbinder-Halle, East Berlin, March 4th, 1990.

"The Who Sell Out" is the third studio album by the British rock band The Who, released on 15 December 1967 by Track Records in the UK and Decca Records in the US. It is a concept album, formatted as a collection of unrelated songs interspersed with faux commercials and public service announcements. The album purports to be a broadcast by pirate radio station Radio London. Part of the intended irony of the title was that The Who were making commercials during that period of their career.

Calling this retrospective by Charlie Musselwhite a "deluxe edition" may be a little misleading. Twelve of the album's 14 tracks come from three albums he recorded for Alligator in the early '90s. There are four each from Ace of Harps (1990), Signature (1991), and In My Time (1993). The sequencing is beautifully done and representative. The true curiosities are two unissued cuts. The first is "Lotsa Poppa," an outtake from the In My Time sessions. The cut itself isn't such a revelation, but Musselwhite's harp playing and singing is. His delivery is signature in that he is always slow and relaxed yet just underneath. There in the grain of his voice is something else, something that smolders. The final cut here is from Musselwhite's private collection of tapes and it was recorded at home in the early '60s. It features the legendary Will Shade instructing a very young Musselwhite on guitar and singing with him. This is priceless archival blues history and is a fine bookend.

This special edition of the 1976 album will contain new Steven Wilson stereo remixes on CD 1, although this is of the version of the album re-recorded for a TV Special. Only five multi-track master tapes for the actual album could be located and new stereo remixes of those tracks are also appended on the first disc. The second CD consists of a complete flat transfer of the original stereo mix, and eight bonus tracks (seven of which are 2015 remixes). This bonus material includes two unheard songs: Salamander’s Ragtime (not related to album track Salamander), and Commercial Traveller. A third outtake Advertising Man was planned to be included but was not sufficiently complete to merit inclusion.
