This documentary was made for Canadian television and was named "Antonioni: Documents and Testimonial". It is a fitting name, since Antonioni is not enough to say, though, and often appears on the screen. Here he was, as a person and his writings give a characterization of colleagues to form their utterances of the film. Here there is an interview with Monica Vitti, including a candid moment with Vitti, where she recalls the accident at the show "Adventures" in 1960 at the Cannes Film Festival. Also a composer Giovanni Fusco, director Federico Fellini (with whom he collaborated on the screenplay for Antonioni's "The White Sheik") and many others. We can also see the rare moments of shooting with Antonioni and footage of scenes cut from "The Adventures".

Zabriskie Point, Michelangelo Antonioni's only American film, is an epic portrait of late Sixties America, as seen through the portrayal of two of its children: anthropology student Daria (who's helping a property developer build a village in the Los Angeles desert) and dropout Mark (who's wanted by the authorities for allegedly killing a policeman during a student riot).
Antonioni's nonrealistic approach to American counterculture myths, his loose and sluggish narrative, and the dialogue caused Zabriskie Point to be poorly received when it was first released. The score features songs from Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, Kaleidoscope, The Rolling Stones, John Fahey, The Youngbloods and Patti Page.

A group of Parisian high school students kill one of their fellow pupils in a local wood; a young, middle class, black market cigarette dealer in Rome shoots a blue collar worker in a clash with the police; a bloodthirsty young Londoner strangles an aging prostitute for no obvious reason before selling the story of his own perfect crime to the press: in this masterpiece of Italian film, three stories of juvenile delinquency inspired by real events of the time are juxtaposed to create a highly insightful film of alarming relevance to the present.
