More Power Rock than Power Pop, when released in September 1980, the album became XTC's first Top 20 chart album in the U.K., narrowly missed the Top 40 (No. 41) in the USA where it was issued in November, but spent an impressive 24 weeks on the Billboard chart nonetheless. The sense of immediacy, the rush of a band fully living up to its potential is as apparent now as it was when the album first came out & Steven Wilson's new stereo & 5.1 mixes bring out every nuance of the original performances on what was, already, one of the best engineered & produced albums of the era.

Skylarking is the ninth studio album by the English rock band XTC, released on 27 October 1986. Produced by American musician Todd Rundgren, Skylarking is a loose concept album centered around various cycles in life, such as the seasons, days, and years. The title was chosen as a double entendre, referring to a type of bird (skylark), as well as the British navy term "skylarking", which means "fooling around". The album was listed on "100 greatest albums of the 1980s" lists by Rolling Stone in 1989 and Pitchfork in 2002.

A brand new film on one of Britain's best-loved and most influential bands of modern times, XTC. Emerging from the late 1970s punk and new wave explosion, XTC amassed a devoted following with hit singles Making Plans For Nigel, Sgt. Rock (Is Going To Help Me), Senses Working Overtime, Dear God and Mayor Of Simpleton. A colourful and vibrant journey into the world of XTC and their alter-ego band, The Dukes Of Stratosphear, the film includes newly filmed interviews with Andy Partridge, Colin Moulding, Dave Gregory and Terry Chambers. Through a mixture of animation, archive and specially-shot sequences, the film opens up the world of XTC and into the brilliant minds of principle songwriters, Messrs Partridge and Moulding.
