The road to Gettysburg began at Brandy Station on June 9, 1863. However, the cavalry clash in Culpeper County, Virginia, counts for more than just the opening round of Lee's second invasion of the North. The battle showed both sides that the Federal cavalry had now come of age, that Blue and Gray horsemen were now equal in ability.

Andy Lau faces off against both Teddy Robin Kwan and Norman Tsui Siu-Keung in this action/heist pic from director Brandy Yuen. Lau is Charlie Chan (no, not that Charlie Chan), who's hired by a local insurance company to guard the Koran, a holy artifact which is probably not the famed Muslim religious document. However, many factions are angling to get their hands on the Koran, including famous sharpshooter Ma (Norman Tsui) and renowned gentleman's thief Cho Fei-Fan (Teddy Robin Kwan). Assisting Cho is his daughter Sandy Lam, while Rosamund Kwan shows up as a mysterious beauty who captures Charlie Chan's eye.

Set the time machine for early morning on KSIB, Creston, Iowa. February, 1950. Hot on the heels of the collectable 10' vinyl Record Store Day EP Omnivore Recordings is proud to present The Garden Spot Programs, 1950, featuring 24 performances, unheard for 64 years, from the one and only Hank Williams! Rescued from obscurity, these shows originally aired over 6 decades ago, and The Garden Spot Programs, 1950 collects material from the four of them now known to exist. From hits to standards to songs rarely (if ever) performed, this is pure Hank Williams, including playful, between song banter. Fully restored to incredible quality, The Garden Spot Programs, 1950 is more like being in the studio when they were recorded than actually listening to them on the radio!
