Animal Instincts is a 2CD bootleg by Pink Floyd. Released by the Harvested label in an unknown year, this is taken from a show at the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California (U.S.A.) on 9 May, 1977 in support of their Animals album. An audience recording, some say this is the best sounding show from the Animals tour, if not the best live recording existing from shows between 1974 and 1977.

A cop and his sexually frustrated wife are struggling to keep their failing marriage intact, when by chance he finds that he is at heart a voyeuristic peeping tom. To satisfy him, his wife has numerous affairs, which her husband watches on closed-circuit televison. However, the pair soon learn that when you play with fire, you'll always get burned.

A police officer videotapes his wife having various sexual encounters to spruce up their marriage, which soon lands both of them in hot water with a mobster whom blackmails them to videotape an encounter with a crooked politician.

Following the death of his father, the owner of East Yarmouth Animal Sanctuary, Kit Lavery returns to Britain from Australia to sort out his father's affairs.
