This study, based on a literature review and simulations, shows the efficiency of cover crops at catching nitrate in most agriculture situations. It also analyzes both the negative impacts they can have and the ecosystem services they can provide.

As virtuoso musicians and members of Sam Gopal's Dream, Andy Clark and Mick Hutchinson were well known to regulars at legendary London clubs such as UFO and Middle Earth when they decided to branch out as a duo. Recorded in two intense overnight sessions in May 1969, A=MH2 is a scorching blend of jazz, raga, blues, and psychedelia that has long been regarded one of the key recordings to have emerged from the UK psychedelic underground. It's presented here as a single LP with two CDs: one of A=MH2, the other containing their March 1969 recording debut, a previously unreleased collection of acid blues that features some equally stunning musicianship…

Mick Hutchinson is a shockingly talented guitarist and his partner Andy Clark covers a multitude of instruments as well as his main focus which is keyboards … . Their final offering perhaps suffers a little from too much emphasis on vocals (which in truth become wearing after a while) and less extended material, covering 11 shorter songs, but the guitar playing still shines (particularly a stunning acoustic performance on 'Boat In The Morning Mist') There is somewhat of an element of despair underlying this album though. …

There are so many abrupt twists in the music here that you don't know what's coming next. The brilliant 'Man's Best Friend' (it's a gun, according to the ironic lyric) begins with a startling Spanish guitar intro before fuzzed up electric guitar and drums bludgeon their way in. 'Oriented' is a marvellous instrumental, as exotic as the title suggests. And, although there's a lot of experimentation going on, the tracks are well-crafted and accessible. DJH Thorn

2010 two CD anthology from underground Rock heroes Clark-Hutchinson. One of the first signings to Decca's underground imprint Nova, the duo of Andy Clark and Mick Hutchinson recorded the album A=MH2 in 1969, soon to become the biggest selling album on NOVA. Championed by John Peel, the duo's first album highlighted the extraordinary talent of guitarist Hutchinson. The 1970 follow up album Retribution saw the band augmented by Del Coverley and included the classic 'Free To Be Stoned' , earning the group numerous live spots alongside cohorts the Edgar Broughton Band and Hawkwind. Gestalt, the band's final album appeared in 1971 on the Deram label.

Retribution begins with "Free To Be Stoned", this is probably their best-known track. Undoubtedly the sentiment "I wanna be king of my own chemistry" appeals to a sizeable portion of the population. It’s infectious, high-octane stuff. Listen: you’ll be hooked.
