Grayfolded is a two-CD album produced by John Oswald featuring the Grateful Dead song "Dark Star". Using over a hundred different performances of the song, recorded live between 1968 and 1993, Oswald, using a process he calls "plunderphonics", built, layered, and "folded" all of them to produce two large, recomposed versions, each about one hour long. The first disc of Grayfolded, titled Transitive Axis, was released in 1994, and the second disc, Mirror Ashes, was released in 1995, both on the Swell/Artifacts label.

Portuguese virtuoso Artur Pizarro makes a welcome return with works by two brilliant pianist-composers. The Brazilian Henrique Oswald and the Portuguese Alfredo Napoleão were born in the same year, less than three months apart. Both were child prodigies who became concert pianists, pedagogues and composers. Oswald's Piano Concerto dates from about 1886. Although influences of Faure can be detected, its overall character owes more to the late Romantic German style. Napoleao's Piano Concerto No.2 is undated but was probably composed around the same time as Oswald's. Pizarro is only the third pianist to champion this spectacular work.

The assassination of President Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963 left a psychic wound on America that is with us still today. Few Americans then or now accept that a lone, inconsequential gunman could bring down a president and alter history. In that breach, a culture of conspiracy has arisen that point to sinister forces at work in the shadows. Drawing upon rarely seen archival footage and interviews with key participants, Oswald’s Ghost takes a fresh look at Kennedy’s assassination, the public’s reaction to the tragedy, and the government investigations that instead of calming fears lead to a widespread loss of trust in the institutions that govern our society.
